Head Instructor & Founder
Hello, my name is Grandmaster Chungkeun Lee, and I would like to personally welcome you to CK Lee Taekwondo. I understand better than anyone how difficult and confusing it can be to choose the right martial arts school. When I first began Taekwondo as a young boy in Korea more than 50 years ago, I felt the same uncertainty. But that small first step became the start of one of the most meaningful and life-changing journeys of my life.
After immigrating to the United States in 2011, my family and I made the Upper Arlington community our home. With a deep passion for Taekwondo and a desire to serve others, I founded CK Lee Taekwondo to share the true value and spirit of martial arts with our community.
My mission goes beyond teaching kicks and punches. I am dedicated to helping each student become a confident, disciplined, respectful, and strong individual, a leader who can overcome challenges and succeed in any path they choose. At CK Lee Taekwondo, we emphasize confidence, discipline, respect, focus, self-defense and life skills.
Since opening in 2013, we have watched countless students grow, not only as martial artists, but as strong, positive members of our community. CK Lee Taekwondo is more than a dojang. It is a family-centered community where students, parents, and instructors grow together.
